Holiday Events 2021 at 5th Street

5th Street Public Market in Eugene, Oregon is the place for holiday magic. Night of A Thousand Stars

Our Night of a Thousand Stars returns with an evening of snow, music, tree lighting, a light show and more on Friday, November 26 from 5pm - 9pm.

Grab a hot chocolate, holiday cookie and your friends and family and join us in welcoming the holidays! The celebration begins at 5pm in the Market core for music and a countdown from Santa himself to the big tree lighting. Our first snow show of the season will take place from 6pm - 6:30pm, followed shortly thereafter by our first light show of the season in The Market Alley! A band will serenade us with holiday songs after the light show until 9pm.

Let It Snow (in the Market Core)

While snow may be a rare occurrence in Eugene, if it’s holiday season at the Market, snow is guaranteed! Get into the Yuletide spirit weekends throughout December in the Market Core. Snow shows happen each Friday and Saturday from 6pm - 6:30pm November 26 - December 19th.


Here Comes Santa Claus

The big man himself, Santa Claus, returns to the Market this year for family-friendly photo ops. Santa’s schedule is below, but please check back here and/or our social channels for any last-minute changes:

Santa PAWS with Greenhill Humane Society

And let’s not forget tis’ the season to celebrate with our furry friends! Bring your dog or cat in their most festive holiday attire for pet photos with Santa on Sunday, December 5 from 4:30pm - 6:30pm. Remember that your feline and canine companions must be leashed at all times.
