Marché pastry chef, Amy Mirate, and her team will guide you through the fundamentals of baking in this fun new series of cooking classes: Baking Building Blocks. From flaky pie pastry to silky chocolate ganache, she’ll lead you through the steps to mastering the basics of her craft. These classes are lecture/observation based, with some hands-on opportunities along the way. You’ll learn how to approach and execute any baking recipe with the skill and confidence of a pro as you discover how to work with simple baking ingredients and tools. This class will focus on dough: pâte brisée, pâte sablé and galette dough.
