Provision's Cheese Class: Southern Italy

This August, we’re giving our cheese class the boot - the boot of Southern Italy, that is! Lazio, Campania, Puglia, Basilicata, and Calabria are host to some of the most iconic (and, certo che sì, some of the most delicious) cheeses of the Mediterranean world: Pecorino, Caciocavallo, Scamorza, Mozzarella di Bufala, Ricotta, and on and on and on.Join our resident cheese wiz Sam Rollins for an opportunity to taste some of the most special, seasonal, flavorful cheeses available! We’ll talk about the history, artfulness, and (dare we say) joyfulness that goes into each cheese’s production, and we’ll touch on (and, of course, try) some classic summertime wine and food pairings.
