Started in 1999, the LaVelle Vineyards Tasting Room is a satellite tasting room located at the Historic 5th Street Public Market on the second floor facing 6th street, just next to the Inn at the 5th Boutique Hotel. Doug LaVelle started The Tasting Room as a convenient place for Eugene area LaVelle Vineyards wine club members to pick up their wine club shipments. As the years went by we've grown and prospered in this space.

Our food menu consists of Bistro Plates, which are focused on locally baked Metropol Bread, local and regional cheeses, and cured meats along with seasonal fruits and vegetables. Our main focus is on our tasting flights, which include fantastic local LaVelle Vineyards wine, local olive oils, chocolates, and cheeses. We regularly rotate our tasting menu to keep things new and interesting for our local customers, as well as hotel customers coming in to take part in our daily wine socials!

Our wines include Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Riesling, Gewurztraminer, and Gamay Noir from the Willamette Valley. We also make and carry Chardonnay, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Trilogy, and Malbec from the Columbia Valley up in Eastern Washington.

We've added live music on Thursday and Friday evenings with Gus Russell, a well known local jazz pianist. And, in the summer time we take our music out on the patio with Gus Russell, Paul Biondi, and friends to play for local customers and guests of the Inn at the 5th facing the patio.

The LaVelle Vineyards Tasting Room is available for private parties of up to 40 people year round, and 100 people in the summer months. Interested parties can call Matthew at 541-852-8181 for details.
